Agata Kaczmarek

Agata is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Nottingham. Her main areas of interest include investigating biology of the plant pathogens and pests, as well as the development of the novel technics for their detection and identification. She earned her MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Nicolaus Copernicus (Poland) and in 2014 obtained PhD in Plant Pathology from The University of Dundee and The James Hutton Institute (Scotland). Between 2008 and 2010 she worked for Plant Protection Service (Poland). Dr. Kaczmarek has published several articles focusing on population dynamics and diagnostics of plant parasitic nematodes.
