Livinus Emebiri

Livinus Emebiri is a Senior Research Scientist with the NSW Department of Primary Industries, and is based in Wagga Wagga. He has a PhD in Forest Genetics from the Australian National University, Canberra, but switched to Cereal Genetics, where has acquired extensive experience in Barley, Rice and Wheat breeding and genetics. His research is focused on the development of climate-resilient germplasm that breeding companies can use as parents to develop new varieties, which in turn, assists growers adapt to climate change.
