Levente Kiss

Levente Kiss is a Professor of Plant Pathology at Centre for Crop Health, University of Southern Queensland (USQ, Toowoomba). Before taking this position at USQ, he was the director of Plant Protection Institute, Centre for Agricultural Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest, Hungary, for five years, and worked in that institute altogether for over 25 years. His research is focused on obligate biotrophic plant pathogens, especially powdery mildews and rusts, mycoparasitism and application of mycoparasites in biological control of plant diseases, as well as plant pathogens of weeds and their use in weed biocontrol.
