Roberto A Barrero
Dr. Roberto Barrero is Senior Researcher at the Centre for Comparative Genomics (CCG) at Murdoch University. He is involved in the delivering bioinformatics solutions to Agricultural and Biomedical projects. His expertise in molecular biology and computational biology provides him a unique set of skills that enables him to deliver tailored bioinformatics innovations. Dr. Barrero is the project leader of Plant Biosecurity CRC funded project, a user-driven initiative that has implemented a small RNA next generation sequencing-based approach for the screening of nearly all known viruses and viroids in a single test.
