Adnan Riaz
Currently, I am a PhD student in the field of cereal rust pathology and resistance breeding. My research involves the exploration of a century old Vavilov wheat collection from Russia using latest phenotyping and genotyping approaches conducting genome-wide association studies to harness new sources of leaf rust resistance in wheat. I am also working on different commercial projects with three leading wheat breeding companies in Australia. I am also actively communicating my research to the scientist and general public by presenting my research in various research publications, international conferences and also through YouTube video, and Twitter.
