I am a Theoretical Ecologist / Ecological Modeller working on various aspects of population dynamics and stability. I do this by developing computer models and applying them to different systems. For example, during my PhD I was working on theory behind the stability of trophic interactions. My main focus there was on how global change endangers biodiversity by influencing species interactions. In 2016, I switched sides - from species conservation to pest control. I joined CSIRO for a PostDoc working on models for Area-wide management of Queensland Fruit Fly.
