Karen F Armstrong
Karen Armstrong is a senior research scientist at the Bio-Protection Research Centre, and based at Lincoln University. She is an applied biologist interested in novel technologies to develop fit-for-purpose diagnostic tools, as well as in more fundamental questions around the taxonomy and systematics of cryptic insect species. Karen leads the Diagnostics Theme in the Better Border Biosecurity collaboration, is an adviser to the QUADs Diagnostic DNA Barcoding project and supervises PhD students at Lincoln University on topics relevant to biosecurity.
