Sharl Mintoff
I currently work in Plant pathology, specifically in banana research concerning Fusarium oxysporum f.sp cubense Tropical Race 4 in the Northern Territory. I previously was involved in cucumber green mottle mosaic virus research, as part of the initial incursion in the Northern Territory. I also worked to increase the resistance of Arabidopsis to Hyaloperonospora arabidopsidis by pre-treating plants to UV-C radiation before infection.
