Elrea Strydom
I am a full-time PhD student in the Plant Virology group of Prof Gerhard Pietersen at the University of Pretoria. The aim of my PhD is to characterize Soybean blotchy mosaic virus in terms of genome sequence and diversity, and to investigate the mechanisms by which it persists between soybean growing seasons.
