Richard Lardner Science Protecting Plant Health 2017

Richard Lardner

I completed a PhD at the University of Adelaide in 2003 working on diagnosis and detection of the grapevine pathogen, Eutypa lata, and then completed a Post Doc on the same topic. I moved to CSIRO in Adelaide in 2006, where I worked on a project assessing the dynamics of soil microbiota in different wheat cropping systems in southern Australia. I continued my soil microbiology research when I returned to New Zealand to work at ESR in late 2008, and moved to MPI to start work as a Senior Adviser in the Plant Imports team in mid-2011.
