Ceri A Pearce
Ceri is a Senior Plant Health Scientist with Biosecurity Queensland, currently working as Planning-Policy Manager of the Panama TR4 Program. She was part of the initial team involved in the early detection and containment of Panama disease tropical race 4 in early March 2015. Since commencing work with Biosecurity Queensland in 2003, Ceri has been actively involved in numerous plant pest responses including red witch weed, myrtle rust, coffee berry borer, cocoa pod borer, tomato yellow leaf curl virus and the citrus canker eradication program.
